Manifesto

We, the undersigned, white men,

  • alarmed by the rise of hateful rhetoric that poisons our world,
  • representing a silent majority of white men who reject the hateful diatribes of certain billionaires or elected officials from various countries,
  • committed to standing in solidarity against all forms of injustice—whether based on race, gender, sexual orientation, or any other factor,
  • recognizing that silence in the face of sexism, racism, and discrimination is not acceptable,

declare: we can no longer ignore the suffering of others simply because our privilege shields us. It is our duty to confront and actively challenge these injustices.

We affirm the following :

  • We reject any rhetoric that dehumanizes women, people of colour, LGBTQIA+ people, or anyone based on their culture, identity, or religion.
  • We stand against all forms of violence towards women—whether physical, psychological, economic, or digital—including unjust wage gaps, and commit to contributing to efforts aimed at ending it.
  • We denounce discrimination against people of color in areas like employment, housing, education, and law enforcement, and call for collaborative efforts to create lasting, meaningful change.
  • We oppose the denial or trivialization of acts of sexism and racism, especially when used as political tools to divide or manipulate.
  • We acknowledge the overrepresentation of women and people of color in poverty, and we will support initiatives focused on economic justice and equality for all.
  • We recognize the imbalance of power in leadership roles, where white men, including ourselves, are overrepresented, and commit to amplifying diverse voices in those spaces.
  • We see that all forms of supremacy, whether male, white, or heterosexual, are outdated and harmful.
  • We acknowledge that our privilege as white men often grants us unfair advantages, in many areas of life.
  • We recognize that women, despite higher levels of education, face barriers like the « glass ceiling » and will contribute to efforts that break down these obstacles.
  • We believe in a future where greater diversity and genuine equality create stronger, more resilient societies.
  • We reject the romanticization of an exclusionary past and the illusion of cultural or ethnic purity.
  • We celebrate all differences—gender, culture, sexual orientation, disability—as essential in building a more inclusive and just world for everyone.
  • We acknowledge the need for full participation and inclusion of people with disabilities, ensuring equal access to all aspects of life.
  • We pledge to examine and confront our own stereotypes and biases, and to support others in doing the same.
  • We are not afraid of women, people of colour, LGBTQIA+ individuals, or those with disabilities. We call for a collaborative and proactive approach to creating a world where everyone can thrive equally.
  • We fear only ignorance, hatred, and division.

This is not just about recognition—it’s about action. We commit to making change happen through meaningful contributions, listening, and actively engaging with others to create a fairer, more inclusive world.

We demand that the hateful rhetoric of a minority no longer dominate debates, discourse, and media coverage.

A better, more equitable world is possible—and it’s one we all benefit from, now and in the future.
